This page explains what information Metriana (“we” or “us”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. We have written it in plain language. If anything is unclear, contact us at privacy@metriana.com.
What we collect
When you submit our inquiry form, we collect:
- Name
- Company
- Email address
- Any messageyou choose to include in the optional “Tell us about your interest” field
We collect this information only when you provide it through the inquiry form. We do not collect information from you in any other way through this website.
We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Analytics is configured with IP anonymization. Whether analytics loads by default depends on your region: in the EU, EEA, UK, Switzerland, and Brazil, analytics is off until you accept; in the United States and most other regions, analytics is on by default and you can opt out using the Your Privacy Choices link in the footer or by enabling Global Privacy Control in your browser.
How we use it
We use the information you submit through the inquiry form for sales follow-up only. That means a member of our team may contact you about Metriana’s services in response to your interest. We do not use this information for any other purpose. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their independent use.
Categories of personal information (CCPA)
For California consumers, the categories of personal information we collect, as defined by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(v):
- Identifiers (Cat. A) — name, email address, IP address, online identifiers from analytics cookies.
- Commercial information (Cat. F) — company name and the content of any message you submit through the inquiry form.
- Internet/network activity (Cat. F-related) — page views, session duration, referrer (if analytics is enabled).
Sources: all information is collected directly from you (form submission or browser interaction). Third partieswho receive this information as service providers under contractual restrictions: Google (Analytics measurement and Workspace email delivery). We do not engage in a “sale” or “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under CCPA.
How long we keep it
Inquiry submissions: we retain them for as long as we have an active business reason to do so, such as ongoing sales conversations. Analytics: aggregated data is retained per Google Analytics’s default settings (currently 14 months for user-level data). If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Know / access the personal information we hold about you and the categories we have collected.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information from our records.
- Opt outof analytics tracking via the “Your Privacy Choices” link, Global Privacy Control, or browser cookie controls.
- Non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
- Appeal any decision we make on a privacy request (where state law requires).
These rights apply broadly to residents of California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Montana (MCDPA), Oregon (OCPA), Delaware (DPDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), Tennessee (TIPA), Minnesota (MCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), New Hampshire (NHDPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Rhode Island (RIDPDPA), and Kentucky (KCDPA). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@metriana.com. If you are in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Authorized agent (California): you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. The agent must provide written permission signed by you, and we may verify your identity directly.
Sensitive personal information
We do notcollect health information, biometric data, precise geolocation, or other sensitive personal information through this website. Health information collected through Metriana’s clinical product (a separate application, not this website) is governed by a separate notice provided at the point of collection.
Children
This website is directed at employer benefits decision-makers and consultants, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us at privacy@metriana.com and we will delete it.
